Jotun is growing fast all over the world, and to continue our ambition of furt her growth and development, the major challenge is competent employees. Jotun's International Trainee Programme is one important tool in meeting this challenge. Roy Vågeskar, Christine Nygaard-Andersen, Øyvind Christensen, Avinas h Pai, Ahmed Yehia Khali Fa and Anette Walle Establishing and doing business in an increasing number of countries has been a characteristic of Jotun for more than 40 years. The trainees will be taken t hrough a challenging and exciting journey in different parts of our organisati on and experience working with colleagues and customers from a diversity of cu ltures. The trainees will be assigned to various divisions, in several countries, and get a broad picture of the whole business as well as specific competence in se lected trades. Jotun offers challenging work assignments complemented by a lea rning component. The combination of pratical work experience, formal training and support from our Trainee Coordinator provides the trainees with a unique o pportunity to develop and assume challenging responsibilities withing the Jotu n company. As an Internationa l Trainee with us you will be employed by your local Jotun company. During the 18 months programme you will have two assignments abroad. After the programme you will return to your home company and the position you initially was emplo yed into. Deadline is December 1st, 2008 with Trainee start-up August 2009.
